After 8 months hiding from the public, Sam Campana gave an update on how DDCS, Inc is spending our taxes. No new information was revealed. When Campana looked up she was met by a sea of citizens showing her how they felt. Image courtesy of Scottsdale Independent.
We had four powerful pro-resident speakers during the public comment period. First was Kathy Howard, who has steadily collected over 700 signatures to get the DDC to a vote in 2018. She shares first-hand how citizens support a vote on DDC.
This is Christie Lee Kinchen, our newest Editor at No DDC. Christie is a lifetime Scottsdale resident and daily Preserve user. Her mom was one of the Founders of the McDowell Sonoran Land Trust, and she is following in those footsteps. Our editors now include Millennials, Gen X, Baby Boomers and the Lucky Few; we come from every political and socio-economic background. We are united in taking back our City.
Jason Alexander levels criticisms at DDCS’s smoke&mirrors plan. Please share and motivate people to support pro-resident candidates for City Council in 2018. Let’s unseat Linda Milhaven and David Smith.
This is Susan Wheeler, a community member with a long record of public service. Susan talks about the latest high-density outrage – 150ft tall buildings! The common link to so many Scottsdale indignities is City Council ignoring the residents. Help take back our city!
Our speakers received a whole lot of support.
The day after DDCS Inc’s tepid performance at Council, Linda Milhaven grabbed the mic to rap that voting is bad, bad voting bad. David Smith and Virginia Korte asked us to be patient for six weeks until the ‘big reveal” on 7-31. We just found out The Big Reveal will be closed session. Did Fudgey Linda Milhaven intentionally mislead, or did she just forget to lecture us this has been the plan all along?
This, right here right now, is one of Millhaven’s microaggressions against the voters. You just saw it happen, and you felt the whooooosh. Don’t forget during the 2018 vote.
