Nearly 100 people had RSVP’d to our protest of DDCS Inc’s fundraiser. Unfortunately, it was 118 degrees. 25 hardy, friendly folks showed up to share their feelings with their neighbors. And we blew DDCS Inc out of the water, by actually collaborating with the community. We coordinated with Scottsdale PD, the Property Management, and the Security Team to develop shared expectations and a safe, legal protest. We got handshakes and high-fives from our community and the Security team while we were packing up.
Do we look like people who are:
These are all actual quotes from Sam Campana.
Did Campana Break the Law, Twice?
Its illegal for a City Contractor to advocate for their project. And a tax-exempt non-profit can not engage a political race. But that doesnt stop Sam Campana from breaking the law while stealing our tax dollars. Here she is mailing her network prior to last September’s special workstudy on the DDC.
And here is Campana violating the IRS code. We filed a report with the IRS three days ago. If you are a tax attorney or an accountant, we’d love your help in pushing this complaint. We found a dozen similar examples of Campana and DDCS Inc possibly breaking the law, and will have a mailer out soon.
More Black Eyes for DDCS Inc
Recently we deconstructed DDCS Inc’s bragged-upon education plan. Only 5 teachers out of 1400 who teach 24,000 kids at Scottsdale Unified School District were interested in DDCS, Inc’s workshop. Even with a $500 incentive. Sam Campana beat the bushes at Paradise Valley Unified, Cave Creek Unified, Great Hearts and Basis. She found only 17 teacher of 50,000+ kids who cared. We got this right off the DDCS Inc website.
The education plan is smokescreen for an event center. Read this snippet. Its from Melinda Gullick in 2010: VP at DMB Builders & former Preserve Commission member & Chair of the DDC Advocates Group & Board Member of DDCS, Inc. Mike Surguine, former Preserve Commission member now Board member at DDCS. And John Sather of Swaback, charging us ANOTHER half million after the half million he made in 2010.
We just got another massive public records dump from the City, this time covering the 2008-2012 meetings that led to the RFP that DDCS, Inc wrote and won in 2015. We are peeling back the layers of baloney on DDCS Inc’s story about “they don’t know what its going to be yet” the plan not finalized. We’ll have more pictures in an email soon that will blow the top off Campana’s spin.
